PENTAGON Awesome Rare Vintage 5 Sided DIAMOND 18k White GOLD Pendant Warm Pale Champagne

Another personal collection reluctant release - what antique jewelry collector doesn't love uniquely cut diamonds!?
Beautiful French vintage geometric pendant with a pentagon cut diamond with a warm to very pale champagne hue which I love. The diamond is encased in an 18k white gold bezel. Makes a unique little drop pendant or charm with the striking sparkle and shape.
I purchased it in Paris and was told it was Art Deco era, I wonder if it might be a 1930s cape diamond with the unique cut and color, I don't have any paperwork for it. It has an irregular open culet. I can't get a great look at the girdle as it is encased in the bezel but under magnification it appears to be frosted as the vintage cuts typically are. Exceptional clarity and wonderful fire.
French hallmark for 18k on the attached loop and jump ring.
Chain is not included. Please note the measurements as it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Feel free to request more photos as I have many others besides those allotted here.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
The pendant measures 6.7x5x1.7mm. Because of the shallow depth it has a lower carat weight comparatively but a nice spread giving it the appearance of a larger stone.
The piece weighs just 0.4 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. The bezel, which must have been custom created to hug all sides of the stone is a bit irregular. It does the job and holds the diamond securely but if you study it you can see some unevenness to the gold. Under very strong magnification only I can see an indented natural inclusion on one edge tucked into the bezel - GIA defines this as a dent that occurs under the surface of a diamond as a result of the diamond cutter's decision not to polish it off, because doing so could end up harming the diamond so the cutters would work around it - this is not considered a defect or blemish but under strong magnification it looks like a frosty speck or dust particle. Other than that the diamond is crystal clear - it's so beautiful. Just being super picky, but a fabulous piece. Wonderful color and sparkle!
